This picture was sent around the world and shocked the Americans because of the reality of war and the sacrifice that people must go through.

I think this picture demonstrates the reality of war and how harsh it can be, no matter who the victim may be. It is said that Ngoc Loan was only interested in assassinating the prisoner because the AP press corps were there to capture the moment.
